Rider Partner Agreement

⚠ Draft — not yet in force

This document is still a working draft. It has 3 unfilled placeholders (highlighted below) — including items like the legal entity name and effective date. It needs review by qualified counsel in Pakistan before it binds anyone. This page is noindex until then, and should not be submitted to the Play Console yet.

Effective date: [•] · Version: 1.0 (draft) · Applies in addition to the Terms of Service.

⚠️ Legal review required before publication. This agreement is presented and accepted (with timestamp) at the final step of the in-app Rider registration wizard.

1. Relationship

You ("Rider") are an independent service provider. This agreement does not create employment, agency, or partnership between you and [Drivio legal entity name] ("Drivio"). You control your own hours (online/offline toggle), your acceptance of requests, and — for pool and rental — your own routes, schedules, and pricing. Drivio provides the marketplace, matching, payment escrow, and support.

2. Verification (KYC) — condition of activation

2.1 Before receiving any request you must submit through the app, and Drivio must approve:

Requirement Detail
Identity Valid CNIC (front and back)
Driving entitlement Valid driving licence for the vehicle class offered
Vehicle Valid vehicle registration document
Character Police character certificate (no-FIR certificate)
Photo & details Recent photograph; accurate personal and vehicle details
Services & pricing Selected services (standard/pool/rental); rental hourly pricing if applicable

2.2 Drivio reviews applications manually and may approve, reject (with reason), or request resubmission. Approval may be revoked if a document expires, is found false, or a safety concern arises. You must keep all documents valid and current and update the app when they change.

2.3 Providing false or altered documents is grounds for immediate permanent termination and may be reported to authorities.

3. Service standards

You agree to:

  1. Provide services safely and lawfully, obeying traffic law at all times.
  2. Use only the registered vehicle in roadworthy condition, with legally required insurance and fitness where applicable.
  3. Honour accepted bookings — accepted standard rides, confirmed pool seats, and accepted rentals. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may lead to suspension.
  4. Not carry more passengers than legal capacity or booked seats.
  5. Treat customers respectfully; no harassment or discrimination (Community Guidelines).
  6. Not drive under the influence of any impairing substance.
  7. Keep your phone charged and GPS on while online — your live location is broadcast to the matched customer; this is a condition of providing service.
  8. Not solicit off-platform payment for platform-originated bookings.

4. Pool and rental specifics

4.1 Pool. You set route, stops, day, time, seat count, and per-seat price when scheduling. You may accept or reject each seat request; rejection triggers a full automatic refund to the customer. Once you accept a seat, you are committed to the published schedule.

4.2 Rental. You set fuel-included and self-fuel hourly rates and minimum/maximum hours. You warrant the vehicle is fit for rental. Handover and return condition should be checked and any damage reported through support immediately. Same-day bookings carry the platform's +20% surcharge, which is part of the customer price.

5. Earnings, commission, payouts

5.1 Commission: flat Rs 10 per completed ride, deducted automatically on completion (from the escrow release, or from your wallet for cash-settled standard rides).

5.2 Escrow: pool and rental payments are held by the platform and released to your wallet, minus commission, when you mark the service complete truthfully. Falsely marking completion is fraud.

5.3 Cancellations: when a customer cancels a confirmed pre-paid booking, 20% of the held amount is retained per the Refund & Cancellation Policy[•] of which [share] is credited to you as compensation / retained by the platform (finalise split with counsel/business). If you cancel or reject, the customer is refunded in full and repeated cancellation affects your standing.

5.4 Payouts: you may request payout of your available wallet balance through the app; payouts are processed to your designated method within [•] business days.

5.5 Taxes: you are responsible for declaring and paying your own taxes on earnings. Drivio may provide transaction statements and may withhold where the law requires.

6. Insurance and liability

You are responsible for maintaining all legally required vehicle insurance. Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, you are liable for your vehicle's operation and for damage caused by your acts or omissions during services. Drivio's marketplace liability limits are in the Terms of Service §10.

7. Data

Your KYC documents are visible only to you and Drivio administrators. Your live GPS is shared with matched customers during service. Full details: Privacy Policy.

8. Suspension and termination

Either party may end this agreement at any time (you: stop using the Rider role / delete the account; outstanding obligations survive). Drivio may suspend immediately for safety incidents, fraud, document invalidity, or Terms breaches, pending investigation. Undisputed earned balances remain payable after termination, less amounts owed to Drivio.

9. Acceptance

Acceptance is recorded electronically (checkbox + timestamp) at Step 6 of registration and constitutes your signature. Governing law and disputes: per Terms of Service §15.
