Drivio for Android. Free.

Drivio isn't on the Play Store yet, so it installs directly from an APK. It takes about a minute, and the steps below cover every prompt Android will show you.

The download isn't live yet

The APK hasn't been published to a public URL yet. Once it is, this button goes live with the version number and a SHA-256 you can check the file against.

Set APP.apkUrl in src/lib/site.ts to switch this on.

Android 7.0 or newer

Most phones sold since 2017 qualify.

Installing

What Android will ask you.

Sideloading looks alarming the first time. Here's every prompt you'll see and what it means, so nothing surprises you.

1

Download the APK

Tap the download button above. Your browser may warn you that APK files can be harmful — that warning appears for every APK, including this one.

2

Allow installs from your browser

Android will ask permission the first time. Settings → Apps → your browser → "Install unknown apps" → allow. You only do this once.

3

Open the file and install

Tap the downloaded file in your notifications or Downloads folder, then Install. It takes a few seconds.

4

Sign in with your number

Enter your mobile number and the code we text you. That's the whole signup — no email, no password.

On that scary warning. Android shows it for any app not installed from the Play Store — it isn't a judgement about Drivio specifically. Only ever install the APK from this site. Once we publish a SHA-256 here, you'll be able to verify the file is the one we built.

App stores

Play Store: coming.

A Play Store listing needs a published privacy policy and account-deletion instructions. Those pages exist here already — they're in legal — and once they clear legal review, the listing follows. Until then, the APK is the way in.
