Nobody takes a Drivio ride on trust alone. Registration is five steps and an admin reviews the result — not an algorithm, a person. If something's off, the application is rejected with a reason.

Your money is held, not handed over
Escrow means Drivio holds the payment and releases it when the ride genuinely completes. A rider can't take your money and disappear, because they never had it.

The rules point both ways.
Most platforms write rules that only bite the customer. Ours are deliberately symmetrical — the same penalty applies to whoever walks away, rider or customer.
Cancel a confirmed standard ride and the penalty applies — regardless of which side you are on.
A pool seat is somebody else's plan for tomorrow. Dropping it late costs the same either way.
A rental blocks out a vehicle for hours. The penalty reflects what that costs the other side.
